Megyn Kelly, Chris Wallace and Bret Baier will be asking questions with only 60 seconds for each to respond.
Hosts can ask each candidate very different questions. They can really throw the debate by asking hostile or leftist-perspective questions to those they do not like.
A foreshadowing of this might be seen in Kelly's recent interview of Cruz. Kelly raised the subject of Trump, and in response Cruz said something kind about his immigration position.
Kelly actually said "if you like him so much why don't you drop out and allow him to run".
She only asked one substantive policy question in an interview that lasted longer than the time Cruz will have in the debate. It was from a far left perspective about republicans supposedly wanting to curtail "women's healthcare" in the context of PP's human body part trafficking. She let Elizabeth Warren do the talking by playing her speech and asking Cruz to respond.
Murdoch has openly ridiculed Trump and even told his news exec to reduce coverage of his campaign.
Murdoch purged nearly everyone concerned with the immigration issue from Fox.
He even tweeted the big leftist whopper that illegal immigrants have lower crime rates than native born citizens.
It turns out that illegals actually have a crime rate 4 times greater than their representation in the population, even after immigration prosecutions are removed from consideration.
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/07/07/illegal-immigrants-accounted-for-nearly-37-percent-of-federal-sentences-in-fy-2014/
(Illegals are estimated at 3.5% of the population, but account for 13.6 percent of all fed offenders sentenced in FY14 when all immigration prosecutions are removed)
Will the questions of candidates asked at the debate show gross bias to support those they like and smear those they don't?
Very.
You can tell from Megyn’s remarks that they’re gunning for Trump, probably Cruz too. They’ll give softballs to kasich, christie, rubio, and paul.
I think Brett Baier is very fair and professional.
I think Chris Wallace sees himself as the next Tim Russert, the tough questioner always looking for inconsistencies.
Megyn Kelly, judging from her TV show, I think will be fine.
At least Candy Crowley won’t be there.

++++
Yes!!!
A regular old Ted Cruz Briar Patch.
Might as well weed out the candidates now who can’t deal with a tough question. It isn’t going to get easier after they get nominated.
Following one's favorite candidates and what they say over time is the only way one can get an honest assessment of who they really are..........
I can't believe all the hoopla this non event is getting........
Megyn will be nasty, the nastiest......she’s gunning for Trump, maybe Cruz
There mission (except possibly for Brett Baier) is to bring a food fight, one that takes out Trump and restores the Establishment lip lock on truth, justice and the American way.
Their careers ride on messing with Republican contenders, destroying Trump, balkanizing Republican base voters backing them into their usual corners to fight among themselves, so Bush can run the gap.
The Republican Party, if they don’t play fair, will lose a huge swath of us to a Third Party or no party at all, but not to another UNIPARTY cram down.
They are using Facebook to judge response to the Candidates. How many Conservative males do you know that use Facebook?
“How many Conservative males do you know that use Facebook?’
Don’t know. I dropped Facebook the minute they announced Ohio for Obama.
With Trump on the dais, it will be anything but boring.
They are expecting a huge audience.
People will tune in for the entertainment value if nothing else.
Their goal is to derail Trump. Look for them to have plenty of op Research handy.
Have the all stars named Bush the winner yet?
Pray America is waking
Remember...if you think of the apprentice...he always asks his "players" simple questions...like..."how did you decide"....."What was your biggest mistake"....Why did you....
He's a think tank man. He'll do just fine.
If they were smart, they’d use Twitter.
All Trump and Cruz have to do is point out the bias to all of national tv and FOX will back off immediately. Fair and balanced.
I don’t think FNC would agree with you.
DT used to be a regular commentator on Fox and Friends.
They love him there.
DT is also a big favorite with Sean Hannity.
FNC has given Trump a big megaphone over the years.
