How do I post pictures from my picture library to FR????

I use Flickr, seems I might have a imgur account too but don't remember. Flickr has option to copy HTML, [img ] method use din many forums, and others. Plus you can select what size to use. I upload most of my sh9ts at 1024x768, I'[ll try one at 800x600 so it won't stretch the screen.
What I did there, if it works, was remove all but the

I didnt know that. I was going off instructions from somewhere. Other environments may be different, but on FR there's no need to close an image tag. Try it and see.

You can't just snag a favorite picture from a desktop folder...it has to be hosted someplace on line to be posted here.
Best bet is to save the image to an image hosting service, I use Photobucket. In Firefox right click and select "Copy image location", in Safari right click and select "Open image in new tab" and copy the address in the address bar. Other browsers have similar tricks.
Example:
This: <img src="http://www.notablebiographies.com/images/uewb_09_img0611.jpg">
Posts this:
Tip: control the size with "height=nnn" like so:
This: <img height=200 src="http://www.notablebiographies.com/images/uewb_09_img0611.jpg">
