But besides being “really creepy” (as described by Massad Ayoob) with groin carry you stand a good chance of blowing out your femoral artery.
I prefer to not intentionally point a weapon at something I do not wish to destroy. Appendix carry, espc. when seated, points a weapon at your central vascular system and lower spine-forget the testes. Hmm.
That said, I carry strong side (LH) even in a vehicle- yes I cannot draw or point very effectively to the left, so my BUG is my go to when seated in my vehicle (weak side, next to my spare mag) but I also have a 6k lb weapon running and ready to go....
Whatever choice you make, exercise the task steps safely and privately ( in a car-garage) and mentally review very regularly.
Pick your poison I suppose.

I carry this way but I don’t keep one in the chamber. It makes for a bit longer draw but the thought of an accidental discharge in that place scares the crap out of me.
