Eight days after the company said its popular radio host and sometimes TV guy was leaving its ranks, ESPN has yanked him off its airwaves over remarks he made questioning the intellect of Dominicans.

Dominicans? No, they're pretty smart. Franciscans on the other hand . . .

Stephen A. Smith is about the only one on ESPN that can basically say what he feels like saying and get by with it. They might suspend him for a couple of days but he always comes back and acts exactly the same.
