In the old days when we all had to use html it was more significant. Lots of quirks then. If one person changed the font color it would stay that color till we could get their attention and have them switch it back.

We had an evening group that met ,gossiped etc My dad called it the backyard fence ...America had a big backyard. Miss the girls lol

That reminds me of a video chat group in the very early days of video chat, 1995 or so I think. We would all get together around 4AM my time and have coffee and gab for a while. Only one or two had cams so we would mostly just use mics, text always available too, and just have a good time. Miss those days.

Strange that I consider it simpler days....but then, not all that long ago, the world wasn’t coming apart in front of our eyes...so maybe even with all the tech advances, I was learning computer repair and working as a machinist, it still seems like simpler days...
