Red Barber and the Brooklyn Dodgers amazing hard luck lineup were among the reasons this Arizona desert rat loved listening to baseball on the radio. For the longer haul, Vin Scully was the greatest announcer out of many great ones. Of course, being a Dodger fan just might influence my opinion.
