Does Black America Understand We've Declared War On the Confederacy?

There’re consequences and repercussions for just about everything . . . . With that notion in mind, as I ran-across the news and discovered the Atlanta branch of the NAACP wants all the Confederate paraphernalia removed from the “infamous” Georgia Stone Mountain state park . . . the branch’s chair, Richard Rose said his group not only wants Confederate symbols removed from all state-owned buildings, parks and lands . . . he’d start with the enormous monument itself of Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. Well go-head with ya’ bad-ass self bra’. "Those guys need to go. They can be sand-blasted off, or somebody could carefully remove a slab of that and auction it off to the highest bidder," Rose said. When I read this I realized these Negroes had lost their minds. Their entire minds.

I am starting to realize that I’ve greatly under estimated the level of ignorance and stupidity.

Hmmm, demanding the destruction of stone carvings because They offend one’s ideology. Seems to me I remember another group actually blowing up some world heritage stuff in recent times for the exact same reason; yet I am considered a bigot and or terrorist because I believe in the Constitution and rule of law in America.

Actually, an op-ed in the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation stating the danger of an earthquake taking out Atlanta if the rock is disturbed would stop this talk. They would believe it. In Atlanta, a number of years ago, a Black mother was complaining that her children had been greatly disappointed that the dinosaur exhibit they “paid good money to see,” didn’t have any real dinosaurs, only fake ones. It wouldn’t take much to sway opinion in Atlanta. (X-resident)

The Black on Black murder-rate cannot be explained away by Black intellectuals on MSNBC or by Negro Lovers on CNN.

15 year-old mothers, 30 year-old grand-mothers and 45 year old great grandma's’ cannot be blamed on White folks in Mississippi and Idaho, Sorry.

I can’t blame every White teacher for why little Jamal can’t read, write nor even tell time on a traditional clock. At some point, at some point Black folks have got to mind our own business.

Now, that is speaking truth to power.

You’re right Sarge. This is a powerful piece - just the kind of in-your-face commentary that I love.

click back to #40 on that thread to see the statement which led to the reply & question posed in #51.

Pelham is correct, in that the next step, the hidden ramifications of demonizing the Confederacy, will eventually lead to demonization of the founding fathers -- thus invalidation of United States more in total.

It's so much easier to take over a people, if one can first demoralize them.

The British issued two emancipation proclamations during our Revolutionary War.

Dunmore’s Proclamation of 1775 and the Philipsburg Proclamation of 1779.

Had the British successfully defeated the Colonials slavery in America would have ended 90 years sooner.

So let’s hear your explanation of which side should have won the Revolution.

The Brits and emancipation in 1779, or the Americans with slavery running for another 90 years?

Which is your choice?

Nobody associates the CBF or the Confederacy wit the modern Democrat Party. The attack is surrogate for Southern Christian values , the republic and the rights of secession.

Precisely.

This is pure Alinsky.

That flag has become the symbol of us all because that is exactly the meme that they are trying to push.

I fear that the future hinges on whether or not we stand firm or back down on the “flag issue”.

Ah, I see, good question. I’m surprised you quieted a liberal with that though. I would expect them to just choose the Brits without hesitation. You must have been dealing with one who had a thought.

not me.

It's Salamander's fault.

And that Pelham.

Though many of us likely sensed the hidden subtext & motives, the other two parties are the ones who are guilty of having figured it out enough, to put it into words.

Me, I'm just an innocent little lamb

There are several statues on Monument Ave. in Richmond, VA to honor General J.E.B. Stuart. General Robert E. Lee. Jefferson Davis, Thomas J. “ Stonewall” Jackson. In the 90's a statue of Arthur Ashe was added. Go figure. At the end of June the Jefferson Davis monument was vandalized.

This isn't going to end well....for them.
