On the other hand if one of them got misted from long range theyd likely stop that childishness very quickly.
Maybe, maybe not. Some people are slow learners.
Reading this article did bring this movie scene to mind:

Yeah 200 bucks is worth less than ten was worth when I was a kid. I recall when with 200 you could take one heck of a nice vacation and people supported families on less than 200 a MONTH! No, I’m not a hundred years old, I was born in ‘44. That’s how much things have changed. When I started first grade you could buy a brand new Ford for just over 1000. A very nice small farm (50to75acres) with a livable house, outbuildings etc. could be had in this area for 3000. My electric bill is an amount that would have been a well above average income then.

Yep. My take home pay, from my first job in 1975, was $500/month. Half of that went to my rent and my underground parking space in Chicago. I lived on $250/month.......paying all my bills and food and entertainment (not much of that!). I wish salaries would catch up with payout costs.

The trash is a real problem, I am sure. Those that discard it should be held to account, too. Have you seen the pictures of the ‘out of the way’ border crossings in Arizona?? Some places a foot deep in trash, discarded backpacks, plastic water bottles. I am no fan of that.......but law enforcement just ignores it. At least litter doesn’t injure anyone.

Yes, the LATimes is a disgusting rag. But it usually swings Left and this doesn't seem to be Leftist biased. I suspect that most surfers are Leftists and am surprised to see the LAT basically giving them a hard time.
