Yup.... no amount of toenail polish, makeup, boob jobs or even surgery will change XY chromosomes to XX chromosomes. Bruce will always be a fella.
True. It's not surprising that Bruce looks like a cross-dressing fruit, or perhaps like a privileged but mentally ill white man dressing like a privileged white woman. My wife showed me the cover picture and asked what I thought of that look the day it came out, before I heard what it was. My response started with "that just looks wrong" and moved on to "is that a guy with a lot of photoshop?"
