In May, the U.S. Forest Service warned hikers against entering the Big Four Ice Caves, which host a popular hiking trail and are part of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, after several sections had collapsed in unusually warm spring temperatures.
I might be wrong, but does going into an ICE cave in the summer sound like a bad idea to anyone else?
I mean you can piss off a hungry mother bear, and she might not eat you, buuuttt......
Those ice caves looked like 3rd Avenue after a three week thaw. Not my idea of a great vacation.
