An Oklahoma woman pulled a knife on a group of teen boys after getting angry over the poor Wi-Fi connection at a Taco Bell, police said.
Amber Lynn Henson was frustrated about the Tahlequah restaurant's internet speed on Thursday when she went to a drinking fountain to cool off.
But a group of unwitting youngsters blocked the 48-year-old's way, reports the Tahlequah Daily Press.
"The boys were kind of in the way of the drink fountain and she had to squeeze through them to get her drink," said Tahlequah Police chief Nate King.
"She got agitated and spilled her drink on one of them," he added.
Cops claim an increasingly agitated Henson waited for the boys outside and pulled a 4-inch blade on them as they exited.
"If you want some of me, come on," she allegedly said before leaving the scene, according to KRMG.
The teens called police and surveillance video of the alleged incident was posted online.
A tipster recognized Henson and she was arrested and charged with one charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.
During questioning, she reportedly confessed to pulling the knife but claimed it was in self-defense.
Wait a minute. Was the issue a Wi Fi connection of the fact that she had to squeeze by? If it was the Wi Fi, its fully understandable that she was going to stab them with a knife. But if it was just squeezing by, well, that would be ridiculous . . . . .
I thought it was the drink. When I spill my drink on someone I just want to kill them. You can’t get it back without a lot of lint in it.
Tahlequah? Sounds Amish.
Cities are people?
1st mistake: being in a taco bell.
This name sounds like one that could be used for an 'Amish' person.
“If you want some of me, come on,” she allegedly said
Hey! She stole that line from the little leper boy.
...kids blocked her Wi-Fi?
Try again, sounds Indian.
I prefer Del Taco - - -
confessed to pulling the knife
Since she confessed to pulling the knife then it is no longer alleged.
You don’t know the “right” lawyers... :(
I see what you did there...
Free WiFi is a human right that cannot be denied.
LOL. I live in Tahlequah. It’s Cherokee. Tahlequah is the capital of the Cherokee Nation. And I’ll bet you $100.00 everyone was white!
By way of clarification, by “white” I mean non-Amish.
