“We [abortion providers] are still seen as dirty, even among our own people.” Stain of sin.
“Many women have written about feeling like they were in an abortion assembly line, with clinic workers rushing them through in order to accommodate more patients.”
They’re patronizing a busy, thriving industry that involves murdering their unborn children.... so they’re wanting it to be a comfortable, dignified experience?
“To take away, abortion clinics are businesses that are run to make money, abortionists are rejected by many in the medical community, and women are ultimately the ones to suffer from the commercialization of abortion.”
Well, maybe it’s because you’re participating in a slow-rolling holocaust. Those wicked experimentation rooms of Josef Mengele weren’t exactly viewed as top-line medical facilities, either.
Nothing escapes commodification in a capitalist society. Where there is labor there must be considerations of capital. This is a feature rather than a bug but I understand how it can seem distressing.
A.: Money. Is a very lucrative business. It is the largest unregulated industry in our nation. Most of the clinics are run in chains because its so profitable.
