I actually think it is the opposite.
If there is a defining characteristic of the LIVs, it is that they strain at gnats and swallow camels. Hillary! will never go down because of Benghazi, but she could be brought down by being Hubbell's baby momma--that's the kind of faux pas that the LIVs understand.
