(CNN)Coca-Cola wants everyone to imagine a world without labels. And as an example, the beverage company is dropping its own.
Coke has introduced a new version of its iconic red-and-white can in Middle Eastern countries for Ramadan, the Muslim holiday that ends July 17. The new red cans feature Coke's signature dynamic ribbon but not the words "Coca-Cola" and are intended to promote open-mindedness and tolerance.
The backs of the cans bear the message "Labels are for cans, not people."

I hope it violates some nanny-state law
The crescent will appeal to Mohammedans.
Yes Coca-Cola, your message of “open-mindedness and tolerance” has now reached me and thus your lovely cans will not be in my grocery cart :)
You shouldn’t drink that crap in the first place.
They won’t have a UPC label?
Let’s label Coke: “CRAP!”
Did they bring back the idiot that changed the formula in the 80s??
Label free? I bet it increases the sea level and adds to global warming somehow...how dare they.
Mecca Cola looks just like Coke!
Wanna bet some muzzie realized “Cocaine” is the sorta original ingredient for Coke? And where the name comes from?
That is Haram! Even if it hasn’t been used in 70 years.
Pound sand Coke...This tolerance/diversity BS is best explained by Mike Adams...Have you ever noticed that you never see signs that say “Tolerate Diversity?” The reason for that is simple. No one wants to be tolerated. Tolerance presupposes a moral judgment. In other words, I must first judge you negatively before I decide to put the judgment aside and tolerate you.
I would actually prefer “Share a Coke with Mohammed.”
OK, labels are for cans. So label the can!
A rainbow can has got to be next.
Oh good grief. First, they put names all over their cans, and now this. Both ridiculous ideas. Why can’t they just relax and be successful?
Like everybody in the world doesn’t recognize the “dynamic wave device” on sight.
I have no tolerance for this idiocy.
