Actually, the South was anti-capitalist, being a pre-capitalist agrarian semi-feudal throwback to the Middle Ages. After extensive media-watching, I have truly come to the conclusion that these radicals come in 3 distinct flavors:

1) sociopath
2) narcissist
3) hysteric with a persecution complex

This lady belongs in #3. Not because hysteria means uterus (ha! ha!) but because of her extreme delusions. She is so paranoid that she sees racism (or misogyny/homophobia — take your pick) even in the drinking water. You would have to be very careful arguing with her, as she will possibly become violent the minute her defenses are attacked. Her kind makes for fun web-reading, but in real life, she is scary.
