I'm not a Mac guy. The only Apple product I have ever owned is an Ipod nano.

But Jobs was quite a guy. He understood creativity and modern business better than just about anyone. Bill Gates made more money, but I don't think the history books will extoll anything groundbreaking that Bill Gates managed to do. Jobs, on the other hand, really left the world a different place with the products he created and the way in which he produced them.

But Jobs was quite a guy.

I think the most interesting thing about him, was how all the big-wigs treated him like an ignorant kid over his head, and then he managed to come back and wrest back control over the company he founded - and build it into a powerhouse. He was no ignorant kid. That's somewhat lost on a lot of Apple-haters. There are plenty of jerks (arrogant like Jobs), who can't be successful because they don't have the creativity of Jobs. And others like Gates who simply steal and cheat instead of create.
