Whatever New Hampshire saw in Donald Trump, it looks like Iowa is seeing it too.
After taking second place in the latest New Hampshire polls, Trump is also claiming the silver in Iowa where he traveled hot off his announcement claiming 10% of support among likely caucus-goers, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.

Except I noticeh, as has been the case in all polls I have seen recently, the "negatives" continue to shrink.
Just saying.
From the article:
"Nearly 3 in 10 voters said they would definitely not support Trump. Bush and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who are viewed as moderates by Republican base voters, come close to that with 24% and 18%, respectively, saying they would never support those candidates."
Nearly 16 months before the election.
Go Trump.
Interesting
Trump, Christie, Jeb, Kasich . . . the mainstream media well have a lot of polls with those guys leading. The actual voters? Not so much.
Oldplayer
Trump, Christie, Jeb, Kasich
One of those four, doesn’t belong with the others.
Just saying...
The GOP are now correctly recognized
as backstabbing, lying, proObama scum
(apologies to scum).
Alternative - and more accurate headline -
‘Shallow idiots conduct shallow name-recognition exercise among more shallow idiots a full year and a half before the election.’
That's true, no matter what you think of them all but Trump are for real. Trump? Who knows.
Actually it’s no longer a year and a half.
It’s now 15 months.
What we’re doing now, is learning about the candidates. Then we will make some decisions about who we are going to run, then the two sides will compete, that really starts to get up to speed around November of this year.
It is early still, but things matter. Even now.
Sorry. 17 months. Bad math (carry the two...)
:D
idiocracy in action.
I’m just saying.
There is a very wide band of support for Trump out here.
There is also some negativism, but that is already shrinking.
We shall see.
Look I understand you are involved in promoting Trump’s supporters, as I am in advocating for Trump.
I just say however, Trump has taken two stands which are at the very front of the GOP field:
Trump is very much for building our southern border up to be a real border. Now. Not the mess we have continued for tens of years. A real border.
Meanwhile Trump is also for bringing back American jobs.
Both of these, are what people want. So you may be for someone else, but don’t fail to see he has a very, very wide segment of Americans who respond to what he is saying.
Very wide.
(sorry that first sentence is backwards)
I think I’ll stop posting this morning, carry on. :)
We can quibble about the timeline but the point stands: these people, including the media, know sod all about the candidates and their positions, with the possible exception of the exclamatory Trump, primarily because the candidates are drilled and programmed to avoid positions.
You and I may be learning about the candidates but Joe Thumbsucker in East Jesus, IA probably isn’t and won’t.
Lotsa Reagan type Democrats would love to have a job as well...Politics don't mean much when you need a job...Trump's base is going to grow, regardless of who he is...
It doesn’t surprise me a bit. I am sure if Kim Kardasian was running the same people would be excited.
Possibly. However, I’d rather have them voting for Trump, than for Kardie/0bie. Even you admit he’s attracting the LIV....and, guess what...they do vote.
I have lib relatives who, for some absurd reason, supported hopenchange....probably twice (not sure, we’d stopped talking about 0, after 2011). They are excited about Trump, as their personal messiah has let them down.
Trump voted for Clinton and Obama,....nuff said. He’s a dem.
...”There is a very wide band of support for Trump out here.”...
I think that is definitely true and the PC move and attack against Trump by the leftist liberal NBC, (the Al Sharpton MSNBC network) and the Mexican Univision network because he spoke the truth, will enhance his popularity more than anything else. Just go to his Facebook page and see the Mexican Americans who are in support of him since all this has happened. He, unlike many, did not grovel and rush to the nearest media microphone to apologize when their vicious attacks came. It takes courage to stand against the media minions and Trump has shown in spades that he has it. It is time for a fearless and tough guy to occupy the WH, for the mess we are in will require street smarts and courage we have not seen in a long time.
