Interesting that for all talk of societal decay at the hands of liberal companies like Apple, people on here still send them millions...

I hope they fix some of the stupidity baked into Photos such as zero ability to edit geotag data, inability to geotag photos missing the metadata, crappy handling of faces during the transition from iPhoto library, not opening the API to Photos, and killing Aperture. Stupidest design decisions ever. Who ever heard of software going so far backward like that?

Use Time Machine to backup? That’s a joke. Whenever I reboot my router, Time Machine can find the backup Time Capsule, but the TM backups fail. I still haven’t solved that problem. Meanwhile, SuperDuper works flawlessly every time to my external La Cie rugged drives via FireWire.

I bought a pre-owned 2012 MBP last year. Had Maverick on it.
I upgraded to Yosemite except for iPhoto which I kept. So glad I did not get Photos.
Have heard several horror stories concerning Photo.

All in all I’d love to get Maverick back. Can’t put my finger on exactly the reason but I don’t like Yosemite as well.

On a more general basis I think Apple really misses Jobs. Seems things aren’t running as smoothly and troublefree under Tim.
