If you had $75,000, is this how you'd transport it? Just asking! TSA @ #RIC spotted this traveler's preferred method. pic.twitter.com/lriNbivmsT

So now, a criminal picks up on the tweet and sees the distinct markings of the bag.

Thanks, TSA. You may just get this guy robbed and/or killed.

It appears to be in the lining, on top of that! No good.

Before people start criticizing the TSA, smuggling money is one of the ways that terrorists can afford to keep on terrorizing.

that’s not the lining. It’s a compartment for folded clothes.

This could be a test to see which TSA agents are stealing luggage contents. Every bill serial # is probably cataloged for traceability. Be careful, TSA. You’re not that stupid, or ARE YOU?

BTW, ANY form of cash (bills, gold, silver, bullets, etc.) is better than KEEPING IT IN A BANK WHERE IT COULD DISAPPEAR OVERNIGHT. See Greece?

“There was prolly 10 million in diamonds in the next bag by the same person.”

Those are carried into the cabin in carry on. I know I've seen it and hand searched bags carrying millions in gems in private rooms off the main checkpoint. The x-ray can't penetrate diamonds very well and the bag has a distinct signature. The passenger (usually a jewel courier) requests a private search and is present as well as a separate witness for your safety and security.

The search is similar to a Vegas dealer leaving a table when he relieved by a new dealer.
