He is reportedly getting treatment in the intensive care unit. He wouldn't be in the ICU, unless the "hand injury" means "losing the hand", or if the hand injury occurred as the result of a more serious problem.

ICU for a hand injury?????????????????Did surgery 35 years and never had anyone in ICU for a hand injury. I suppose a suppurative cellulitis/fascitis could explain it. I wonder if his insurance is through one of the Federal Exchanges.
