There was a good portion who were socialist, the KKK and such. Thirty plus years ago there were also people who were conservative like the Reagan Democrats. Remembering history can be a good thing.
What I remember of democrat history is all the back to the civil war, anti freedom, anti capitalist, pro socialist. No thank you.
