Can anyone help me remember who the pitcher was who had a major meltdown during the world series. I want to say it was when the Jays played the series. They had used up their bull pen and had called on their starters for help. This pitcher gets up with only a day or two rest and starts walking players home. He can't get out and is obviously frustrated. He ends up yelling at the plate umpire and has a tantrum or melt down on the mound. Very painful to watch. I think he was ejected and a fielder took over and got them out of the inning.
I may have messed this up royally but thanks for the help.

WOW! You got it!
Wasn’t that painful?
If you mean Game 7 of the 1985 World Series, I believe it is on YouTube in complete form.
ask Brian Williams...I think he was gonna pitch the last inning if the game got really tight..../s
Because, in either case, I can't help you out!
Regards,
First name I thought of - a heck of a thing to be remembered for.......
It was great to see A-Rod get hit number 3000 on a home run last night. Got to see Derek Jeter get number 3000 as well. Unfortunately both were on TV.
I proposed to SweetiePalm in the middle of the 5th inning, 4th of July 2009. It was the first 4th of July in the new stadium.
