A little factoid I don’t often get to share. I read it in a Kurt Vonnegut novel years ago. The little dimples on a strawberry are called “drupelets”.

True. "drupelet" |ˈdro͞oplit| nounBotany: any of the small individual drupes forming a fleshy aggregate fruit such as a blackberry or raspberry. Oxnard has tons of strawberries. Maybe I can send some to my brother in Upsala.
