The McKinney Swimming Pool Story Is a Perfect Example of Massive Propaganda Delusion

RUSH: McKinney, Texas. You heard of that town? You heard of McKinney, Texas? Very nice little town. Police are called to a gated private swimming pool. It seems that African-American kids are sending out text messages to each other about where to go to mob the swimming pool that is not theirs. I mean, they don't have any right to be there, I'm sorry to say, don't fire me, please. They don't have any right to be there. It's not their pool. It's somebody else's pool. It's gated, but they found their way in, they're texting out, "Everybody, come on, join us."

They mob the area, they jump the fence, get aggressive, unruly, having sex all over the place, screaming curse words, and they do this because there's no place for them to go swim. They feel discriminated against. They don't have any swimming pools, so they go and find somebody else's, send out messages to be joined and then people join 'em. So there were mothers with their young children at the pool. These people happen to be paying for the pool, by the way -- ahem, sorry, that's I know insensitive to say. And these mothers call the cops, and so the cops come. Cops arrive.

You made claims equating white and black neighborhoods as equally dangerous

Here's what I've been posting: In the town WHERE I GREW UP 30-40 years ago, there were "white" neighborhoods as dangerous as the "black" neighborhoods. And that's why my POV is different.

I also wrote, "No one here said the black community as a whole doesn't have problems. It's obvious there are big problems."

The crux of this argument is that you say people are incapable, whereas I'm disagreeing and saying, no, people are making the wrong choices.

I'm the one with the conservative point of view here.

Well, all right, I suppose you did tell me that you lived in Manhattan. So, I'll tell you that I grew up near (but not in) Philadelphia.

It’s called “reversion to the mean”. It’s what happened to so-called “bourgeois black” Prince George’s County. I have read of a study which compared data from Prince George’s County to a county in West Virginia. The white males in the West Virginia county came from families with lower socio-economic status than the black males in the study from Prince George’s Co. But the black males from two-parent, higher earning families in Prince Georg’e Co had lower school scores, higher drop-out rates, and higher crime rates than the white males from poorer families in the West Virginia Co. I have tried to find this study in my bookmarks, I seem to recall having read of it on the “La Griffe du Lion” website.

Yes, I’ve seen that study and some similar ones. It’s dangerous for an academic to write about SES and genes. Very non-PC - especially when the results don’t turn out to support the liberal position. No wonder La Griffe has to use a nom de plume.
