"If you listen to enough modern rock and metal music, what with the shredding/blasting guitar sounds and distortion pedals and stomp-boxes and so on, it can be a real eye opener to re-listen to the surprisingly smooth and clean sounds of the earlier hits of the Rolling Stones, and to hear the extent to which they favored finesse and musicality over brawn....."

Nice copy of the stones.
Very Bright and crisp.
Charlie Watts sounds brilliant

Mick used to live around here when he was married to Jerry Hall, you’d bump into him at the grocery store.
Never liked the guy.

Keith? I would march into battle with that guy.

Was Larfing again tonight about when the Stones tried to recruit Rory Gallagher.

I saw Jimi perform live 3 times - 5 if you count the fact that the first two times were at The Virginia Beach Dome (Alan B. Shephard Civic Center) and he played two shows each night (without repeating a single selection besides "Hey Joe" and "Purple Haze" which were both on the Top 40 that April (closely followed by "Foxey Lady" and "Fire" in June of '68).

I love that dang song, never get tired of it, and especially her vocal. That moment where her voice breaks a little gives me goosebumps every time. So intense!
