Critical thinking skills are dead and the patience and willingness to wait for facts is in its death throes. The inclination to presuppose the perpetrators ideology even before the body is room temp appears irresistible.
What gets lost in the feeding frenzy is that our culture is sick - and getting worse.
After an incident like this there are plenty of inane things said on the internet,by all kinds of people.

For better or worse — this is the nature of internet discourse today.
Sure, the chief got lucky this time around and the incident ended well. But otherwise, during his tenure, crime has skyrocketed in Dallas, particularly thugs attacking whites. That's why no one I know from my church ever ventures into the city of Dallas any more and it also explains why I live 50 miles away from that third-world cesspool.
Some of the smaller cities need to start recruiting candidates from the big cities in trouble and offer positions where the cops are more appreciated. Give them credit for years served and a relocation allowance.

Obama and his minions have been trying very hard recently to pick apart the 2nd amendment to restrict gun ownership and mental health has been at the top of their list. The timing is uncanny. It really makes you wonder if Satan is Obama’s payroll (or Satan’s)...
