DARN! I don’t get that channel. What a class actor and person he was. Not a scandal like today actors.

Ought to have the 1981 Chuck Norris classic “An Eye for an Eye”. Lee was superb as the San Francisco TV station owner who turned out to be behind the drug ring that Norris’ SF cop was trying to break. I know that Chuck is not exactly TCM fare, lol, but still.

“The Scarlet and the Black” would also be a good example, albeit a made-for-TV movie. Lee played the Nazi opposed to Gregory Peck’s Msgr. O’Flaherty. Both of them played their roles just camp-ily enough to be enjoyable, but seriously enough to be believable.

They couldn’t have started just a little earlier, and preempted Trog?

1959 Mummy. My favorite of all the Mummy movies.

I shut off my cable. It wasn’t worth $175 per month just to have TCM. I’ll search him on netflix. Plus I have a few of his DVDs.
