We had a small drive-in burger joint in the 70’s and had their cardboard posters up all the time. National Guard Armory if I recall. I didn’t save a darn one of em’. :(

Yeah unless it was Knoxville then it was at Chilhowee Park at the Jacobs building. I spent many an evening there in the mid 1970's LOL. True story as far as I know one night a fan took things too serious it seemed and stabbed Whitey Caldwell outside the building. Ron rushed him to the hospital. All of them were great athletes and entertainers. After their match they'd be out of their trunks back in their clothes and shooting the breeze in a corner somewhere. I saw that alot. The real fights were up in the stands LOL.

It was Maryville/Alcoa and the Armory on Hall Rd. They had all kinds of things going on there.
