It probably just means you’re congested, since most of your sense of “taste” is actually smell. Or it could mean your food is going wonky.

<3 I would hope you live long enough to sing at my funeral, and with that in mind, I plan to live another 30...Just because I can... :o])

That would make me almost 80. I can’t guarantee my voice will hold up, but I’m sure I could get Sally to do it, with the application of Much Guilt.
She wasn’t in the piece the Charlotte Observer ran about the Renaissance Festival auditions. They featured a 10-year-old girl and her mother who were both already costumed. There’s a good chance she’ll get a part, though.

I believe that if you are required to sing, the Lord will give you voice!
Sally should not give up if she wasn’t featured, as I know she will give a good performance. She IS her mother’s child!

She was just hoping to be in the paper so she could show all her friends, but it was just one column with only the two people featured. Getting a role at the festival is the big thing, and she’ll hear about that in two or three weeks.

I know what that’s like! I wrote a letter to the local paper when I was 16, about some of the music that was being played by the local DJs. It made the printed issue under the headline of, “Teen Takes Crack At Type Of Music Disk Jockeys Vend.” That was SO embarrassing! Hoof and mouth disease, for sure! LOL!
And I was teased. But I stood by it, and the teasing died. I don’t think anyone recalls it, but I would like a copy of it, since mine was lost so many years ago...
My mother was proud... :o|

"That would make me almost 80. I cant guarantee my voice will hold up" The trick about getting as old as you want to get is to start getting younger as you approach your goal. After all, if jellyfish can figure it out, why shouldn't we?

LOL! It’s hard to go against the crowd when you’re a teenager. Ours occasionally show flashes of appreciation for being allowed to be original. Tom knows he has it easy, during his rare bursts of honesty ...
I just don’t have it in me to be standoffish. You’re supposed to protect your children ... but I think they learn more from seeing the results of bad decisions (Jamie, for example) than from being isolated from people who are different from us.

My friend worries and ponders about the concept of reincarnation. That jellyfish have no brains would explain why being reincarnated or growing younger wouldn’t bother them.
Our task, before we begin doing these wondrous things, is to learn how to keep our bodies functioning and feeling good, so that a longer life will be a joy and not a punishment.
Then, after a long life, a bit of reincarnation should not be troublesome or unpleasant.

I don’t believe in reincarnation. I just believe that who you are is who you were/are meant to be, no matter how many lives you claim to have lived.
As far as my body is concerned, I’m not about to let it go without a fight! :o])

I don’t believe in reincarnation, either, but I can understand that, if one were a jellyfish, there wouldn’t be any agonized cogitation about the past, present, or future. You just float and absorb nutrients.
