Because with Socialist garbage, EVERYTHING is about baby murder..I would be in favor of MSNBC aborting themselves right now but unfortunately they won’t do what they support to themselves..and Miss Piggy is a freakin PUPPET, what next, asking Kermit The Frog his views on ISIS
Great. Now I’m hungry.
Slow-smoked pork ribs, anyone?
Of course she does. She’s a liberal muppett.
And she’s a boy chaser
I guess this means She is Pro Bacon.
Can’t they leave anything out of politics?
“Why must they do this to childrens fictional characters?”
Why do you think? To get them pro choice while they are young!
Murder lite.
The muslims should NOT put up with this PIG being on TV!
Agreed. A deliberately meaningless answer to a grossly inappropriate question.
Three days later, Miss Piggy appeared in an interview with MSNBC reporter Irin Carmon, with feminist activist Gloria Steinem also present. When Carmon asked Miss Piggy, Are you pro-choice? she responded, I am pro I am pro-everything.
"Pro-life" is part of "pro-everything"...seems to me Miss Piggy is a comedic puppet, not a politician. And yes, I know it is contradictory to say "pro-everything" since dueling points of view are included therein.
I guess I'm trying to say is:
LOL, I can’t believe I wasted my time on this thread.
One could also take the “I’m pro-everything” answer to be an embracing of the GBLTXYZ agenda. “Do as thou will shall be the whole of the law”.
It’s telling that (s)he was not asked about obesity. What with Mama Michelle saying we need to MOVE and California looking at bans on soft drinks.
In June 2015, during an appearance at the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, Kermit was asked by Gloria Steinem if he was a feminist; Kermit said he was and Steinem suggested that we need more feminist frogs in Washington, which led Kermit to reveal that he's a member of the Amphibitarian party.
From http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Kermit's_political_affiliation (more quotes from different years at the link)
Apparently the actor(s) (don't know who's voicing Kermit since Jim Henson is gone) DO try to keep a non-partisan response to (often liberal slanted) political questions. It's likely that Henson's company (now owned by Disney) may even contractually yoke the actors taking political stances while voicing the characters.
It's good businesswise since no matter which party you advocate, there will be some who's business you lose.
I question the decision in permitting the Muppet characters to interact with Gloria Steinem at a politicized event.
"I've shared my views on serious news programs. Miss Piggy and I were on Nightline to explain the reasons for a major economic downturn. (Some cite our appearance on Nightline as the cause of the crisis.) I even made appearances on political debate shows like Hannity & Colmbes [sic]. I thought I had learned everything about left and right from Sesame Street, but those two guys really taught me a thing or two. (Rather than take sides, I publicly declared my political position as an Amphibitarian. We're opposed to marriages between frogs and pigs.)
"I'm going to try. I'm afraid, as a frog, we cannot vote... I am an Amphibian-American. I am proud of it. I am taking a certain issue to discuss with the president, if I can. That's interspecies dating. Which evidently Miss Piggy is for. I'm not so sure about... I wanted to tell all of the animals out there in the world and any people who might date pigs that it will get sorted out, folks."
MS PIGGY SLUT
Bill Clinton agrees.
To corrupt the chldren of course. Anyone complains they act innocent and how cynical of you to say such a thing...
