One of childrens favorite Muppets and a feminist icon, Jim Hensons Miss Piggy character, is now officially on record as being pro-choice, after an MSNBC interviewer asked her point blank for her stance on abortion.
This year, Miss Piggy was chosen for the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Arts First Award at the Brooklyn Museum, where she publicly proclaimed, Moi is a feminist!
Today I have come to you as a tough woman, a proud feminist, an international star, a best-selling author, icon, diva and now I have a Sackler Center First Award, Miss Piggy said at the June 3 ceremony.
Miss Piggys long-time partner, Kermit the Frog, was also in attendance to see Miss Piggy receive her award.
Three days later, Miss Piggy appeared in an interview with MSNBC reporter Irin Carmon, with feminist activist Gloria Steinem also present. When Carmon asked Miss Piggy, Are you pro-choice? she responded, I am pro I am pro-everything.

A dumbbell asking a dumbbell a dumb question - then Ms. Piggy also contradicts herself.
Disgusting!
Is Piggy still a transexual voiced by a male puppeteer?
Breitbart deserves to be criticized for this. The answer was obviously a deflection of a stupid question, not an declaration on abortion.
Send Miss Piggy to ISIS, I think they know what to do with a crapload of bacon
Yeah your right, after reading what she said you could tell it was something she didnt want to answer..Ok is this weird that we are commenting about what a puppet has to say LOL
Ask Miss Piggy what brand of bacon she prefers.
Ms. Piggy?
I really don’t care what Meghan McCain thinks.
It says more about the collapse of MSNBC than anything.
Who the hell asks a puppet if it supports abortion?
Guess it’s time for some BACON!!!!
Fake headline.
Fake story.
Miss Piggy gave a good answer to an inappropriate question.
Wouldn’t a feminist pig speaking out in favor of various immoral issues offend muslims?
Are you pro-choice? she responded, I am pro I am pro-everything.
So why does the headline assume pro-everything means pro choice? Pro Everything could just as well be taken as Pro Life if that is the logic.
Half-pig, half-frog, mutant babies..Maybe there should be an exception in her case.
And The Onion is once again surpassed by “real” libtard journolistas.
Well Ms Piggy has the shape of most feminists I have seen.
General manners and way of “solving problems” too.
Why must they do this to children’s fictional characters?
