Police officers and outlaw biker gangs often stand on common ground. Both attract the young and adventurous who value order, discipline and brotherhood. And on weekends tens of thousands of cops routinely trade their cruisers and badges for choppers and club colors.
The bond doesn't mean a free pass for criminal motorcycle gangs, but even some within law enforcement worry that too many officers believe bikers are just misunderstood Robin Hoods. And empathy from officers who emulate or even aspire to the outlaw life can put police or the public at risk, gang experts warn.

I really don’t understand why you defend the biker thugs? Please enlighten me. Thank you.
Again; deflection. Your favorite Alinsky tactic.
Why are you here instead of on the DU forum where liberal loons like you belong?
Why are you defending an obvious massacre of bikers just going about their legal business?
I could care less if you approve of the people involved. That simply doesn’t matter. What matters is they are American citizens with all the rights that goes with it.
Your position is clearly to defend the shooters simply because your husband decided to join a club rather than stay with you. Can’t say I blame him at this point. :D
“Why are you defending an obvious massacre of bikers just going about their legal business?”
LOL! It was a gang war! If you think that is legal business you are obviously riding with the wrong club.
Not in Maine!
“This was a confederation of clubs event. It was not a Bandidos event though some were there.”
The Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents is run by the Bandidos as are all the CoC’s are run by the dominant gang in the region.
The Cossacks showed up at the Bandido meeting wearing Bandido patches. They had had several violent episodes with the Bandidos over this same issue in the past.
Enough said.
No they are not.
Yes I have the same hopes about my home area.
But just the other day the homo who runs the VA hospital in my state ran up the LGBT whatever whatever rainbow flag in place of Old Glory, in front of the hospital, claiming federal authorization and refused to bring it down.
I know these are not the same situations. But things have changed so badly and so quickly...I never know what or who will hold true from day to day.

take pictures, make copies. stand out front and hand to vets, send letters to the editor, and without being obvious, force them to arrest you, make sure they are arresting you for something that violates your right to Article one of the Bill of rights.
Then, discretely find out if it has authorized a non vet to be treated by the VA. That will put it in jail.
You are incorrect, noob. Threads go all over the place. Part of the freewheeling nature of the forum.
You intimated that the Mexican ladies who got their van shot all to hell were up to no good. Care to share what you suspect them of and why? Care to answer what sport asked you? What statute did they violate that warranted police gunfire of a massive and overwhelming (and quite nearly fatal) nature?
