Tiffany Two, the Ocean Beach feline who held the Guinness World Record as the Worlds Oldest Living Cat, passed away at the age of 27. The petite black and orange tortoiseshell kitty died in her sleep on May 22 in her favorite spot in bed next to her owner, Sharron Voorhees.
Thats where she slept, and thats where she passed, said Voorhees, a retired lawyer in her 70s. I was so grateful that she did it perfectly right until the end.
Tiffany Two whose name was a tribute to Tiffany, a cat that Voorhees had in the 1970s won her Guinness honors in February, just one month before her 27th birthday. Much hoopla followed, as Voorhees and her cat companion had their time in the media spotlight. Voorhees thought the experience was a hoot. Tiffany Two took it all in stride.
She was ho-hum about it, said Voorhees, an animal lover who currently shares her home with two dogs and two cats. I held her, and she was happy.

Our White-haired, blue-eyed cuddle kitten died two years ago at the age of 19 1/2, and had a good life doing it. He was an active cat and playful right up until the week before.
Considering the doc told us he only had a few months to live due to a condition at age 12, it was a blessing.
You must be treating that critter right.
My little sweetheart of a cat lived to be 24. We had to put her down when she developed liver cancer and renal failure. I miss her terribly.
We had a calico that lived to 24, her son was 23. Cancer took both if them. Their kidneys give them problems when they get old. We have three cats sub cutaneous saline every night for three years. A lot of work but it gave them longer quality lives. Our oldest one now is 15, we’re going shooting for 30.
My oldest kitty made it to just under 22.
He was as dumb as a sack of bricks, but such a sweet kitty.
WRT the saline, do the cats cooperate?
They leave our lives, but never leave our hearts.
You put it in the scruff of their neck. No, it doesn’t bother them that much but they do notice it.
WOW, you should apply and see if your cat can be in Guinness. We had one cat who made it to 19, that was the oldest. And she was like a little kitten the whole time.
That was because she had lived with my other cat Normie (age unknown). He was a big old cat and any cat that lived with him stayed tiny. We said that Normie stole their growth hormones.
I really think it was true.
Thank you; I was wondering.
27...
Wow, I though our cat was old when he died of a heart attack at 24.
I have one that just turned 21. Also a tortie. Half Siamese too. She’s lost a little weight, but she’s as spry as ever. Still bugging me for bacon flavored corn chips. she is doing the heat vampire thing on my chest as I type this.

R.I.P. Tiffany Two. If ya see Poo up there send her our love, and let her know we miss her. She was 24 when she passed on. Just last week Piffy passed away at age 21, but he’s probably still in processing so don’t bother looking for him yet.
Our current oldest is Callie Gal at 20 years, and blind, but otherwise she’s in great shape.
Flawlessly logical. Meow.
Mine use me as a cat bed. How we suffer for their sake.
RIP
My Oreo Vigna is 16 this year. Its incredible how we have become even closer this past year. He is showing his age but still runs the house and the 1 year old *Whites*
That love is never lost.
