Thailand!
Best argument ever for keeping sealed records sealed.
I guess there are worst things to discover one’s father is in Thailand than a Dutch Elvis.
It’s an intrinsic characteristic to want to know who your parents are... Can you imagine all the people who will be out looking for parents 20 years from now with all that is going on with no questions asked sex, embryo transplants etc? It’s like there will be a whole generation who will be condemned to wander the planet trying to find their souls. This gal at least found her earthly father.... let’s pray that she finds her heavenly one.
As expected, we have a bunch of relatives in Ireland and the northeast US, some we knew of, some we didn't. But then, it turns out that we also have a second cousin in the database, who was adopted and has no blood family in contact with him. He was hoping somebody would reach out to him.
But, I kid you not, from his profile we learned that he is a bisexual, depressed, satanist Canadian. He remains unconnected.
She ain’t nothin’ but a hound dog.
Ohhhhh, when I first read the headline, I thought she found her dad on Facebook, while she was performing as an Elvis impersonator in Thailand.
Elvis impersonator? What a sad mental illness to have.
Great job of hunting him down. She’s a real hound dog.
I was adopted at birth. My parents’ names are on my birth certificate. I’ve never really had any great desire to go on some search for my biological parents. I figure it was a last fling before heading off to Vietnam. Of course I’m slightly curious, but not much. I couldn’t have had better parents.
Headline of the year!
(I read “BC”, not as “British Columbia”, but as B.C. as in “prehistoric”!)
Bless my soul .... where?
