With Republicans in Wisconsin taking him off the chairmanship of the WEDC I think your assumption is probably right. I think they’re going after Walker to take him down, and they got the Republican legislators in Wisconsin to do their dirty work. Not that the governor is completely without blame, but the fact the state GOP turned on him that fast is pretty fishy to me.

I have subscribed to a Wisconsin newspaper to follow what’s going on up there. There have been rumblings of discontent between Walker and the GOP legislators for a while now. One thing they have complained about is bills that they have passed sit on his desk for weeks before he signs them. Walker likes to schedule signing events for photo ops. I’ve never heard him give the legislature any credit for those bills.

For instance, the legislature just passed another key bill that moves things forward in the “Right to Work “ issue. While Walker has been on a trip to Israel, a motorcycle tour, a trip to Canada and various campaign events all at the Wisconsin taxpayers expense, they have been plugging away back at home on this legislation.

If Walker continues his standard M.O., he will schedule a photo op/ signing event and take all the credit.
