EPA Chief: Just Trust Us On Climate Science

Americans are just going to have to trust the EPA’s 44 years of experience dealing with environmental issues when it comes to figuring out ways to cope with man-made global warming, says the agency’s chief.

EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy told Big Think in an interview that while there are limits to how much the federal government can do for issues like global warming, the public needs to trust how the EPA translates the “complicated” science into real-life actions.

“Well I think we all have to recognize the strengths and limitations of government action,” McCarthy said. “But here’s what I think we can do at the federal level more effectively. We can speak to the science because it’s complicated and we do a lot of research and we do a lot of translation of the science into what it means for people so that the decisions can be made on the basis of real science and on the basis of a real technical understanding.”

Americans are just going to have to trust the government on Obamacare. You can find out what’s in it after we pass it.

The government would never Grubrer us.

I think we should trust the Great Father in Washington. Surely men who run such wondrous machines as steamboats and trains must have our best interests at heart. They cannot turn their backs to the people living on this great land for generations. What could go wrong?

EPA said they were going after NO2 from jet engines. My money is that we will never hear about that again.

The climate started changing not long after it stabilized after every major catastrophic event, ie. extinction events.

About the worst we could do is start up a nuclear winter (just for arguments’ sake) which would cover the globe in a shroud for a while, thereby cooling it.

The Pentium Flaw:
“Though rarely encountered by average users (Byte magazine estimated that 1 in 9 billion floating point divides with random parameters would produce inaccurate results)”

What was omitted from documents on this is when it did make an error, the Exception Flag wasn’t set.

Thus, you could never verify if you had an error.
What isn’t commonly known is the Pentium Flaw was covered up by a mid-level executive to protect his stock options.

Reminds you of why Global Warming is being promoted...to protect someones future financial profits.

I know these “Gina McCarthy” fed types; I’ve worked for them for years. They typically have no family and few friends. They embrace their little fed fiefdoms and protect their power jealously. They are, in reality, “little people” and they need to be exposed, by name, where possible.

THAT ain't NEVER gonna happen. How would algore and obozo get around to tell us, as Jimma Carter did, that WE need to shiver in the dark so THEY can jet around the world screaming that "THE SKY IS FALLING?"

In case you’re wondering why Algore requires such a large aircraft, it’s because he takes his ego, his banking records, several pallets of currency and 3 tons of gold coins with him wherever he goes.

Translation: she doesn’t have a clue about what she’s talking about. I’d like to see the “findings” from the goverment grant scientists that researched this then I’d like to bring in a team of my own non-government funded scientists and see how much their findings differ. A lot I’d imagine.
