We tent camped at Yellowstone Park in 1964 and a ranger told us about a couple that tried to place their toddler on a bear’s back for a photo. Thankfully the bear took off.
I was there in the 80’s, they claimed a tourist did put their kid on a bison and the kid got tossed a hundred feet. I wonder.
Then again I can show you my photo of a moose’s antler and eyeball as he charged right past be because I just had to have that photo.
