Cats are also an invasive species in Florida so it’s sort of karmic that they’re being eaten by yet another invasive species!

A lot of those cats were undoubtedly family pets. Very sad. And that big reptile looks capable of inflicting damage on dogs and small children too.
When I lived in FL, we had a screened in yard where the pets could play without threat of being eaten by big lizards; in fact they hunted down small lizardy things daily.

Time to open a loony bin for the Florida pet owners who import pythons and lizards and whatnot and then just let them loose when they can’t handle them any more.

I was driving up the street to my house and saw a Teagu Lizard in the middle of the street. Thing was about 5 feet long.
People have them as pets but they get very aggressive in the wild.

What they should do is import some Komodo Dragons to go after these Nile Monitor Lizards.

Im not big on regulations but Florida is being ruined by folks bringing animals that shouldnt ever be here in the first place!

Piranhas will survive Michigan winters in the lakes but they need warmer water to breed thank God.

Maybe any owner is required to have the animal “chipped” like dogs etc. If it is let loose he PAYS A FINE A BIG ONE.
If it is that bad they need to just grow a pair and declare open season on the vermin.
