Cats are also an invasive species in Florida so it’s sort of karmic that they’re being eaten by yet another invasive species!

A lot of those cats were undoubtedly family pets. Very sad. And that big reptile looks capable of inflicting damage on dogs and small children too.

When I lived in FL, we had a screened in yard where the pets could play without threat of being eaten by big lizards; in fact they hunted down small lizardy things daily.

Just wait until children start getting nabbed. At 6 ft long they will be burned w vigor.
