May is normally our wettest month

Here too but over a foot this month is a bit much. I know you Texans and Okies are going to say "I wish" but I remember not that long ago hearing about the Dallas lakes drying up. Last year around here was perfect but perfect only comes along a couple of times in a lifetime.I pray for all the gardeners and farmers the perfect amount of sun and moisture to grow crops and animals.

Two years, ago our rain barrels were all dried up at the end of May. That is unusual for Missouri. That’s when we decided to buy a pool at the end of the season sales.

The pool and the rain barrels are overflowing, but we’ll likely need it for the dry months - usually July and August.

I am sorry for all the flooding and problems in Texas, but I am glad that there is some relief for the long long drought they have had. I echo your prayer.
