President Bush said Tuesday he was "dismayed and shocked" at disgraced lawmaker Mark Foley's behavior and supports House Speaker Dennis Hastert's call for a full investigation.
-snip-
Some, including a Washington newspaper, have called for Hastert (R.-Ill.) to resign, but Bush expressed confidence in the speaker's ability to resolve the matter, calling him a "father, teacher, coach."
"I know Denny Hastert. I meet with him a lot. He is a father, teacher, coach who cares about the children of this country," Bush said.

The Bushies ALWAYS had a “soft” Spot for FAGGOTS(Karl Rove, Mark Melmen et al).
Hastert loves the children.
Very interesting. Thanks for posting.
I’m no fan of the Bushes either, but come on. You really think W knew what went on in Illinois in the 70’s?
Well, maybe it is a good sign that the only dirt the left can dig up is based on something so old. Then again, maybe he is just being held up as a threat to other politicians, as an example of what could happen to them if they don’t follow orders.
I think Bush and Rove know Hastert and Foley were homos. Roberts, too.
Rove shoulda found out and passed the info on.
Of course it’s Obama and Lynch and Hillary and Jarrett sending a message to the GOP “leadership”.
Maybe, maybe not. It would be one thing if he knew they were homos, but I don’t believe for a second he would have supported Hastert if he knew he was Sanduskying adolescent boys when he was a teacher/coach. He was a mediocre president that screwed up a bunch of things, but I don’t believe he is a bad guy.
If Hastert was a “Slimeocrat”, you wouldin’t hear a peep. Merely trying to divert attention away from Hitlery
So jebbush had Hastert’s backside, doesn’t sound very good.

I heard once about rumblings about how HW was running a ‘call boy’ service out of the white house....
He was a CIA spook so who knows if it was business or pleasure...
Re Rove: He’d probably get better press if he were.
The Bushes seem a little naive about people. They love the Clintons, so they really have poor judgement of character and are totally fooled by Bill Clinton.
Hastert also defended William Jefferson, D-La.
Oh my.
