Bystanders lift double-decker bus off unicyclist (Video)

About 100 people in London swarmed a double-decker bus to lift it off a unicyclist who'd been run down during rush hour Thursday evening. Police said the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Witness Kyra Sam told the U.K. Standard she was walking to the Walthamstow market when she heard screams. "I'm really amazed at the strength of Walthamstow. No one hesitated to push the bus off, I was in shock. "Everyone really came together to help. It was really nice to see that in the face of something so awful." A witness posted a video of the rescue on YouTube. No arrests have been made, police said.

If people were smart, they would do such things more often. The trick is finding a handhold. The math is fairly straight forward. 100 men should be able to easily squat lift 20,000 pounds.
