So didn’t the ancient Greeks sacrifice pigs to their god Jupiter or something?

“Really? Well, on my planet, theres a legend about people like you. Its called Footloose. And in it, a great hero, named Kevin Bacon, teaches an entire city full of people with sticks up their butts that dancing, well, its the greatest thing there is.”

I guess they aren’t atheists anymore. Sounds more like paganism.

I hope they put out guards to protect themselves from an attack by ISIS supporters.

Zeus did. For Jupiter it was ox, goat, or ram - all castrated. Also lamb or ewe. It depended on the occasion.

In further checking, I see that different kinds of animals were sacrificed to Zeus, many times as burnt offerings.
To: cripplecreek
Dang that is not nice. Why can’t they have 1 show with guns and Bacons together in 1 room?
To: EveningStar
Zeus, many times as burnt offerings.
It seems to me that a pig was offered to zeus on the Temple alter and desecrated the Alter.
