I was one of the last ones arguing that any Republican is better than none. to hell with him and to hell with his majority, What have they done? I’ll tell you what they’ve done. they’ve made it now a two-thirds majority needed not to approve a treaty but to overturn it regarding Iran. I still can’t believe it

Sen. McConnell is a great example why the ill-conceived 17th Amendment should never have been ratified.
Next year being an election year, I suspect that RINO McConnell is trying to avoid a 2/3 conservative Senate majority needed to override presidential vetoes (1.7.2) and remove House-impeached government “leaders” from office (1.3.6).
