Again, for those who don’t know, a “light year”, the DISTANCE light travels in a year at its speed of 186,000 miles/second works out to about 5.9 TRILLION miles. In short, 15 MILLION light years is a long friggin way from here!

Also, star color is like the colors of the flame on a gas stove. Blue is the hottest. Orange and yellow cooler (respectively). All stars may seem white at first glance, but if you look closely and compare, you should notice that some are more blue, orange, or yellow than others. This has solely to do with their surface temps. The Sun, a yellow star, has a surface temp of around 6,000 C.
