A large, hungry tom cat might help. Tell him you’ll feed him every time he brings you a dead squirrel.
I have an indoor cat who is allowed outside on a tether. The squirrels have been super aggressive this year with my feeders, so I have actually allowed him out to chase them a few times. They come back, but it makes me feel good to see them chased away.
I like and feed squirrels. I hate feral cats and refuse to wake up to dead animal babies laid out at my door.
