Agreed. B-( I feel that way too. My only consolation is I still watch the same TV set today as I did then, my 1982 Zenith. B-) Before Mom passed, we found the bill of sale, April 4th, 1983 and it's been in use since then. I remember the TV then, NBC was on top.

I think I still have a few VHS tapes of off-air recordings dating to 1983. Amazing how much more quiet and low-key the commercials used to be then.

Best movies
Best TV shows
Best music
Everything seemed a lot better back then. People were nicer, there was less of the me first gimme gimme I’m special kind of arrogance, and less hostility.
