Thank you, Excellence.
Speaking of El Niño, found this interesting article:
Extreme El Niño expected to wreak havoc on weather this year

Thanks, Lucy. Weather has always fascinated me. Were I starting college again, I probably would have changed my major from English education to meteorology. I have six weather related bookmarks on my ‘puter and check them several times a day.
Fingers crossed this El Nino actually materializes.....Kalifornia could use a good swampy season to quell the drought police.
I still click on your neat FR page every time I see your posts. Those roadrunners are fascinating. Do they live there the year-round, or migrate and return in Spring?
Currently, we're seeing lots of new little quail families...anywhere from one chick to an almost Duggar-sized brood of close to 12. We're loving watching them, and make sure to keep the back yard supplied with birdseed!
We love just about all our wildlife here, 'cept for the rattlers and scorpions...
We’ve seen some very strange weather in Texas already this year. It was a mild winter but spring has brought rain and cool temps for the past month. While the rain has been hit and miss (mostly miss here), I’ve had to delay and delay the garden due to forecasts of severe rain/hail/tornadoes. This has not been a Texas spring. We should be pushing upper 90s or more but it’s been in the 80s. Not complaining about the cooler temps but there’s that other shoe waiting to fall come July and August.
If one looks at the climate record, the percentage of time that the earth is warm enough to sustain life is comparatively low. In the end, the ice wins. It’s all much ado about nothing we can do anything about.
Thanks for the bttt.
You are welcome my FRiend.
Last year we were supposed to have a “Super! El! Niño!” So I’m going to take a wait and see attitude. It would be good for California, though.
I envy you your quail. We have Ravens, and they are an unkindness.
