I still click on your neat FR page every time I see your posts. Those roadrunners are fascinating. Do they live there the year-round, or migrate and return in Spring?

The beep-beeps and Gambel's quail are year round guests....roadrunners aren't at all shy; in fact they're curious and will cruise to within three or four feet of you - hoping you have a lizard or ball of raw hamburger to give them.

Currently, we're seeing lots of new little quail families...anywhere from one chick to an almost Duggar-sized brood of close to 12. We're loving watching them, and make sure to keep the back yard supplied with birdseed!

We love just about all our wildlife here, 'cept for the rattlers and scorpions...
