Please. They intervene either to a) protect themselves from someone else getting the data and/or b) to get the data for themselves. Apple already has the data about their products sold through RadioShack. Apple does not sell Apple customer data to anyone. . . and Apple goes to extraordinary lengths to protect its customers data. That is why Apple is trying to prevent the data being disseminated to a third party.
